Leverage Your Reviews

We’ve already learned about links and how important they are to ranking well in the search engines. Well, here’s another tip to help you. It’s not only links from other websites that count—links within your website can help you, too.

If one of your reviews links to another of your reviews, that’s called an ‘internal link.’ Although they are not quite as powerful as links from other sites, they do have real value. Internal links help the search engines find all your content and get an understanding of what you think is important.

All of this information is useful and gets taken into account when calculating where your reviews should rank. So adding some additional internal links can really make a difference. And as this is very easy to do, it’s definitely worth spending some time on.

All you need to do is add one internal link to each review. That is, your review will include a link to a review you have already written. Just add the link in a way that makes sense. Let’s look at how you can do this.

Let’s say we want to edit our Pac-Man write-up to include a link to another review. First of all, log into the platform and find the write-up you want to link to. For this example, we’ll use the Mimpi Dreams review. Hover over ‘View,’ right click and copy the link address. Keep this handy for later.

Now move up to the Pac-Man review and click on ‘Edit’ to open the review. We’ll add a sentence at the end of the review, including a reference to Mimpi Dreams. Then highlight Mimpi Dreams and click on the link button.

You can then paste in the link you copied earlier. Hit ‘Enter’ to save the link. If everything seems good, click on ‘Update’ at the top right.

Your link to Mimpi Dreams will now be visible when you view the post.

You have created a brand-new internal link in just a couple of minutes! Now repeat this process every time you add a review to create even more internal links.

The search engines will soon take notice and you will get more and more visitors...all for free!
