NerdWallet was founded in August 2009 by Tim Chen with an initial capital investment of $800. This is a review website that makes money solely from affiliate commissions, just as you will with Write App Reviews.

Tim says he stumbled across the paid review opportunity by chance.

“My sister asked me for help choosing a credit card. I said, ‘Let me Google that for you.’ I got annoyed that the results were all infomercials and not helpful.”

The formula certainly works. The company has grown like gangbusters and is now valued at over $600 million. And the whole story started with a desire to write great reviews!
